These are views of the summit crossing the Bighorn Range.

The photo above is of Old Faithful early in an eruption. The one below is between eruptions while it is working up the pressure to pop again. The park service posts estimated eruption times but they were off by almost 15 minutes on the one we saw. Fortunately I had gone there early so as not to miss it, but there were a lot of other people who were walking toward the geyser 5 minutes after it was over.
