In the past I think I have posted very few photos that show any of the close up detail of stonework or woodwork at Biltmore House. The top shot here show some of the stunning carvings on the exterior of the main stair. The next shots are some of the orchids currently blooming in the orchid room at the Conservatory and the last shot is of a very exotic wildflower called a nuk that Matt and Amy and I stumbled across on a hike at the Arboretum.
