This was a misty morning walk on the trail I mentioned that Abner discovered a month or two ago. It had rained overnight and there was mist everywhere. . .very pretty.

This stuff is some amazing grass they planted after doing some work on trails and roads that are used to service some of the comparatively derelict buildings. I wouldn't mind a lawn that looks like this.

This moss is also pretty amazing. It seems to grow like a carpet around the base of trees that are in fairly dense forested areas. I guess it does best protected from direct sunlight. You can't tell from this photo, but there are at least two different kinds here with differing colors. Very cool.

This is a view from the other side of the Inn from the one I posted a few weeks ago. This is what it looks like on the side from which you enter. . .thus the large pointyroofed porte cochere in front. This is a frequent stop for a drink of water and a rest if we have been hiking for awhile in the woods and Abner is in need of a rest. The bell staff all know him by now.
